Quick honest question : Wouldn't it be possible to put that sdcard into a phone, then connecting that phone to a pc and moving the files there?

You can do that with most phones, yeah.

FTP seems like the simplest solution without having to do a bunch of moving around of the SD card if that's a bother. Otherwise, using a phone or SD reader would be a fine alternative. They're not expensive to replace.

Yes, PCs and Chromebooks will consider the phone a USB stick, as long as you have a "file transfer" set... if you have an sd card, when you click on the phone icon in explorer, it will show the phone files in a folder and the sd cards files in another folder.
oh hey if you have an old phone with a detachable back, then you can use that as a USB stick!

Kind of unnecessary necro-bump here, lmao. I did more or less imply what you just said without the extra details and no questions were raised about it in the past 4 years
