I hacked my 3.6 vita with an 8 gig memory card cause it's all I had at the time. FTPed over a few games. Then I decided I wanted a 32 gig card so I bought one, but I'm a little nervous about how to switch over easily. Do I just switch out and re-run Hen on the new memory card even though all the Vitashell and stuff is already on my vita homepage? And I assume the games I installed already will only work on the previous memory card. Can I just switch out memory cards when I want to play those instead of reinstalling everything?

Sorry just kind of a newb.

Just open your browser and run Henkaku (Henkaku.xyz) again and it'll install the required files onto the new memory card, vitashell will have to be installed again as well any homebrew type apps you had on the old memory card. You're correct games won't be on the new one like you stated. And hey its okay to be a newb on things, I was once the say way you are now. It's always great to ask questions though!! Always will be glad to help.

You will need to reinstall everything on the new memory card if you don't want to continually switch.

You should backup all of your games and saves with QCMA (homebrew can be backed up as well, as long as Henkaku is activated), after that just switch the memory and restore all the games/apps etc. Then you can just put the 8GB in storage or something, just in case. That'd be the easiest way.

You can also swap them semi-easily, as long as both memory cards have the same account on them. The only thing that kinda sucks is the Vita has to restart and rebuild the database each time you switch.
