far as I've seen the file is just overwritten when you start a game making any changes useless
Yes. But even changing blueprint from which game is taking values to overwrite config still does nothing. Changed resolutionpercent in blueprint to 100.0, config was overwritten with 100.0 and still it was rendering at 70%.

so,we see all change about resolution because of oc clock?can we use your "mod ue4 method" to change it?byw,see you again nice to see you!

GTA 3 is locked to 70% of 720p in handheld. Dynamic resolution is not used.
Tried modding and it's not that easy in this game. Just wait for ecl0674 as it seems they are more deep into this than anybody from here

yes,ecl0674 is professional.Unbelievable this game dont use Dynamic resolution

I dunno guys. I just changed my res for 100 in save file and disabled reflections and it worked. When I tried using 80 or 90 percent resolution it just reset all settings, but when I used 100 it just worked

imagine transferring the pc settings onto the switch lol

Yeah. I was thinking first time too that it was working, but I have compared screenshots and it turned out I was under placebo effect. Find a good place for screenshots comparison to check if you are not under placebo effect.
This happened to me many times even with 60 FPS mods. :P

it works in gta sa, resoultion does at least. and yeah it doesn't work in gta 3
im tellin you it wont work with my gta sa save, its in this line right?

Graphics=(Visuals=1,SimulationScale=1,Streetlights=1,headlights=2,ResolutionPercent=70.000000

i change it from 70 to 100 and it reverts back + u can tell it didnt work ingame after re-injecting

the thing that is ruining all three games performance is the fact these games have always run like shit when compressed because they are constantly streaming files but yet they decided to compress all three games into .pak files anyway

I doubt that this has something to do with it, since it would only be necessary to overclock the memory to improve performance. If that's how you put it, Hellblade would be a disaster on Switch.

hellblade doesn't load files the same way GTA does. GTA is constantly streaming files (meaning constantly decompressing on the fly) while you drive which in the past caused most of the stuttering for these specific games and was fixed by decompressing them. I was met with these same disbeliefs even way back then.
