Hacking Question concerning R4i 3ds Carts and update (r4ids.cn)

I have two new R41 3Ds carts from r41ds.cn and I have upgraded it to this Patch as announced on their website:The 3DS V4.3.0-10 Patch for R4i Gold Non-3DS is released now!

It says it supports 3DS V4.3.0-10 however Nintendo says the latest update is to 3DS V4.3.0-10u. Does that 'u' matter - or does this latest firmware work with this latest update.

The U is just the region for the system. So U is USA, E is Europe, J is Japan, ect.
The region really doesn't matter for DS mode, which is the mode flashcards run in.
