Gaming Question about WW:DIY saving

Does saving happen automatically on warioware DIY? 'Cause In turned off my DS and my save is gone.

I'm using AKAIO.1.6.RC2, on my Acekard 2i which has a fix for warioware saving, so I don't know if I'm just not finding the save button or whatever.
