I have the Cyclo DS evo and have just bought the EZ 3 in 1(regular DS size not lite). I have enabled GBA support in the cyclo menu and the GBA roms run fine when running from the cyclo menu. However once the game is on the 3 in 1 should it show up in the DS's menu as a bootable game? Its showing as no cart being inserted. However it is working as through the cyclo the game loads fine.

You need to write the game to the NOR memory not the PSRAM as it is deleted after power off. PSRAM is a whole lot faster to write to though, but there is only 16MB of it compared to the 32 the NOR has. NOR takes longer to write to but will stay when powered off. Your save is kept by a small battery in the EZ 3in1.

How do you make it write to the NOR memory?

Edit: Nevermind I figured it out. Highlight the GBA rom and press select to choose which mode. Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure. I think there is a different button you press when you have selected the game.
EDIT: According to the CycloDS's UPDATED for each firmware version manual:

If you are using EZ3in1 you have the option of running GBA games from either PSRAM or NOR
flash. Loading is much faster with PSRAM, but you cannot use games larger than 16mb. If
running a game from NOR, it must first be flashed which is a relatively slow process however this
will allow you to run games up to 32MB. Furthermore, when a game is written to NOR it can be
used as a cache of that game. If you try to execute a GBA game in PSRAM mode and that game
is already flashed to the NOR, then it will be executed immediately without any loading delay. To
toggle between PSRAM and NOR mode, select a GBA game in the game list and press the
SELECT button.
