Question about USB storage devices

I get it's not a good idea to store Wii U games in a USB flash drive and is recommended to be stored in a USB HDD or SSD, BUT would it be okay to store Wii and virtual console games on a USB flash drive? These games are smaller and definitely don't requires as much read/write speed, but I'm just tryna make sure.

Should be fine. And if it does, because it's cheap disposable garbage, then it won't matter, since the save game is on slccmpt anyway, so you can just reinstall the game on a new flash drive without losing anything
