I've been installing some themes. Most that I have chosen doesn't show all the installed apps on my switch. Why is that? I read that it's the theme itself and someone even said that a lot of themes won't show a "show all apps" button until there's a certain number of apps installed. If that's true, why would a them dev do that? Also, is there a way to launch installed apps that are not displayed? Such as games.

The show all apps button is an hos limit. Not themes. Also that button only shows once you have more than 13 games/apps installed.

Ass for removing other stuff, its all preference. Some ppl don't ever use the eshop so they remove the button. Stuff like that

I'm not sure what you mean by "hos limit"? And why would a theme break the ability to show all app/games installed on the menu? If I don't have a custom theme installed, all the apps/games I have installed show up in the menu but once I reinstall a custom theme, some are no longer available.

I'm not new to modding but I am new to Switch modding. I'm just trying to figure out how to make this thing do what I want it to do. I don't necessarily want to load unwanted apps just to get a show all button to appear.

Hos = horizon operation system. The switches os. The show all button doesn't show up till you have 13 or more games/apps. I'm speculating at this point since I honestly don't know but my guess is some themes limit the number of games/apps shown but it's still there just need the show all apps button.

As for the applets at the bottom of the screen, thoes are baked into the firmware. So there's technically always a way to access them but again those are usually preference.

Thank you for your insight. It is much appreciated. Maybe I'll explore the idea of enabling the displaying more apps on some of my favorite themes.

I just extracted a theme and found the "stationary game icons". 0 - 7 have good coordinates but 8 - 12 don't and have a visibility set to false.
