Hacking Question about the Acekard 2i

so i just bought a 3DS and previously i used my old DSi to upgrade my card to the 3DS firmware so it can play my backed up games. But when i try to start the cart it just goes into the error mode and tells me to turn the system off. is there anyway to fix this?
