Question about Skype and Video Chat.

Wasn't sure where to post this topic, but....

So I'm using Skype for the first time and want to do video calls on it (tablet to pc). Do I need to buy a Skype number in order to do this, or does having a person's Skype ID simply enough? The main website was not clear on this and I couldn't find a clear answer on Google :\ .

Skype ID (and obviously an internet connection) is all you need.

The Skype number lets you make/receive calls from regular phones/cell phones, but you have to pay for the calls.
