Hacking Question about Sky3DS ...

forgive my ignorance and mild noobiness , but what is the reason for undubs not being usable on Sky3DS ?
aren't they technically the same roms as ones that are already supported ?
or is it because they aren't properly signed/different checksum?

Basically the Sky card emulates a retail card and by doing so it doesnt allow any modifications to the actual ROM itself. As such only legit dumps will work with Sky.
