Shovel Knight Treasure Trove is on sale for $20 on the Wii U and 3DS right now. Coincidentally, I just won a bet against my sister for $20 (side note: I can run a mile in 6 minutes 12 seconds). I don't own any version of Shovel Knight but I know that there was an option to where you could upgrade a Wii U version to the Switch version. Is that still true even if I buy the Wii U version now?

That's too bad. My friend old me about and it is true because I just looked it up. I don't really want to buy it for my Wii U or 3DS though.
