Hacking Question about ripping 3ds games

Long time lurker here, finally decided to pick up a sky3ds. However, I know that I need to have a private header to avoid getting banned and I was wondering if there was a way to rip games without having to use gateways backup ...since I don't have a gateway

As far as I'm informed, by using Datel Powersaves, or paying someone to grab a game for you, giving you all the needed info and then dumping it or either sending it to you.

What firmware are you on and do you have an o3ds/2ds or a n3ds? If you have o3ds/2ds on frimware <= 9.2 you could access the gateway menu and dump your game. You don't need the Gateway cartride to do this.

Also if he has a n3DS on <= 9.2 he can use a ROM of CN or OoT on the Sky3DS to load the GW menu and dump the game.

Well then you could use a powersave to get your header if you can create powersaves, like nolife said.
If you don't have a powersave device and are not going to buy one, I'd say you'll have to find someone, who ccan dump your game, or you just don't play online.

Keep in mind you need one from your own region (North American one), as a British one wouldn't work on your USA games. You can either check the description or ask the seller about it to doublecheck.
