Question about payload on Switch lite.

Im thinking about...liberating my switch lite (as this is the term used were i live) but one dought striked me, How does RCM works on a switch lite? I assume the easy answer is that is always on, is in auto rcm, but i dont think thats it cuz how do you put it in the first place, Can someone be so kind as to tell me this part?
