ROM Hack Question About Patching Roms

Hey guys,

I was looking through the patches list today, and I found some games in which I would like to patch. But, I've already played most of the games to a pretty far point. If I patch the game, will I still be able to use my previous save data?

Very much dependent on the patch.
It's possible, but not guaranteed.

You can. Just make sure to name the rom and the save file the same but the sav file has the .sav or whatever format your flashcart needs it to be.
