I purchased a second Switch a year or so ago and it’s been in a drawer on 3.0.0 since then.

I’d like to know if I can use my legit eshop games on it without hacking my legit system. The 3.0.0 will never go online again.

Thanks for any insight!

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. In order to use the eShop and download legally purchased games, you have to connect to the internet and update to the latest version (currently 8.1.0).

Simple Answer: no.

Long Answer: If you don't connect the system online, there is no "legit" way for you to install your legally purchased games.

No, your tickets are account and system specific, so even if you dumped your tickets from the Switch you have and installed them on the 3.0.0 console they would not work.

(Sorry for the double post)

Yeah I was wondering since all my games are on my sd card of my legit up-to-date Switch. I’m not too familiar with the current state of Switch progress, I didn’t know if you could copy them over and have checks disabled and whatnot.

Thanks!
