Hi, guys. Was wondering if I could pick the brains of any smart people here at GBATemp. So let me start by saying that I've spent the last 2-3 days googling and getting frustrated, so I'm hoping someone here can answer my question.

My New 3DS XL has been completely modded. The version for the sysnand is 9.2 (U) and the emunand is the latest firmware (11.1.0-34 U).I updated to this firmware manually by using TitleManager because I kept getting an error when updating. I use Luma3DS and Menuhax to load the emunand, and I have played with Luma to get where I am now. My original problem was that when I tried to convert pokemon ruby version into a cia to install to sysnand and emunand when I opened it it gave me an error message on the bottom screen. I toyed with Luma's settings and now that doesn't happen anymore. Now though, it gives me a white top screen after the GAMEBOY logo. I'm booting from emunand even though it's installed on both because the cia doesn't seem to work in sysnand. Any ideas and help is appreciated. Thanks.

Is show gba boot screen on in luma setting? (hold select while booting luma) If so turn it off
If you don't have a9lh them make sure you install to both emunand and sysnand.

ok, not sure what I did. I followed every instruction, but now my 3ds only turns on for luma selection by pressing select. I did the press a test with the test arm9loaderhax.bin and it signifies that it is NOT bricked but that something happened. Help please.

So it only boots the luma settings? Is autoboot sysnand on?

and I even tried taking the micro sd out. The blue power light flashes once then goes off. That's without the sd.

turning autoboot on then attempting to press start freezes the system

The turn on then off is normal without sd card. Again turn on autoboot sysnand

Can you boot hourglass9? (hold start on boot) Also did you do this?
Clear Home Menu's extdata by navigating to /Nintendo 3DS/(32 Character ID)/(32 Character ID)/extdata/00000000/ on your SD card

hourglass is not booting either. I also cleared the home menu data. Does this mean I'm bricked?
As a last resort you can try and replace luma's arm9loaderhax.bin with Decrypt9's arm9loaderhax.bin and restore NANDmin.bin by doing sysnand options - sysnand backup/restore - nand restore (without keep a9lh). If that doesn't work then you are bricked.
