• Dump and decrypt your cartridge or eShop copy of Pokémon Sun or Moon (Must match the version of the romhack) using Decrypt9WIP.
• Place your decrypted .3ds or .cia file in the same folder as "setup.bat".
• Run "setup.bat"

I'm dumping with HourGlass9 and then with GodMode9 to make sure they are dumping correctly. I'll report back. In the mean time, you can let me know what options you used during the installation so I can repeat your process exactly and attempt to replicate.

Ty. I chose to only dump once as all of the dumping tools are made by the same person. Hourglass9 dumped the CIA and is now decrypting it. I will report back in a little bit once it is finished.

My system is A9LH, running Luma3DS 7.0.3 with the game emulation option enabled.

Sorry for the long wait, but I got it working! So let me quickly go over my hardships:
-Dumped and decrypted the installed eShop version of the game (no updates) from my N3DSXL (took quite some time)
-Followed the steps. Wasn't sure if I should save or export tables after pressing the Randomize button on PKSM.
-Even though I ran the "setup.bat" with admin privileges, it threw a lot of errors. An hour or so later, it was done.
-I transferred the new CIA (_Leveled.cia) to my N3DSXL.
-Deleted Moon.
-Installed new CIA.
-Attempted to run the game. I was given a window from Ninty asking if I want to download the update.
-I clicked no.
-Game wouldn't load. Stuck on that Nintendo 3DS logo screen.
-Restarted N3DSXL.
-Attempted to run game. I was given a window from Ninty asking me if I want to download and install the update.
-I clicked YES
-Update installed
-Game works just fine

tl;dr: after installing the CIA, connect to the Internet. When you run the game the first time, your 3DS will ask you if you want to download and update. DOWNLOAD AND UPDATE. Then it'll work.
