Hacking question about DSi and Acekard 2i

So the Acekard 2i doesnt work on a DSi with 1.4 installed. Do all new DSi's come with 1.4 installed now?

I'm currently using my acekard on a DS Lite actually. I tried it on my daughter's DSi, and I got the error message as her DSi has 1.4 installed. But I was wanting to get a DSi, for my acekard.

Just flash the cart for 1.4 and you'll be fine.

you mean format the system memory on the DSi? Will that work for a new DSi also?

Read Section 8.
In short, download the files, but the DSI one on the Acekard, and run the file. Follow the on screen instructions and then it SHOULD work on the DSi.

Yes all cards that have 1.4 bypasses work on a normal DSL.

Nope. Sorry. They use that to bypass the DSi 1.4 FW.
