Hacking Question about arm9loaderhax and NNID

Hey everyone! I was just having a question and I'm hoping that someone who has had a little bit of experience can help me here. Ok so I am wanting to install a9lh on my new 3ds, and keep my existing NNID.

Currently my ds is running reinand and can access the eshop and all of that just fine, but I am wanting to format the ds and start over with a9lh and luma3ds. My question is, if I format EVERYTHING, reinand and the sd card in my ds when I have a9lh installed can I link the same NNID to my system? I'd prefer to keep it if I could.

Yes, but backup all your saves first with JKSM. And keep a NAND backup from before you format. Just for total safety (nothing's worse than losing 50 hrs of playtime).

Don't worry, I regularly backup my NANDs and am not worried about losing progress on any game I have played with my NNID.
