Homebrew Question about A9LH and CFW

Hello everyone,

This is my first time trying to hack a 3ds and i was wondering if you can go to sleep mode safely, is there a way to brick your 3ds while installing CFW and can you update with A9LH.

After installing a9lh and cfw you can safely use sleep mode. You CAN'T use sleep mode while installing a9lh or you might brick.

Once everything is installed your 3DS will do everything it did before plus some. The only way I know how to brick is to not follow the directions exactly or putting your 3DS to sleep while on firmware 2.1.0. Other than that it's really not all that risky anymore. Still there are chances things could happen but not likely given you've followed the guide(https://3ds.guide) and have the proper files.

would not be impossible to break it . . . but as long as you can read and follow instructions exactly you will be fine
