Hacking Question about 2DS CFW

Could i use an SD Card reader on the 2DS? What i mean is putting a microSD in a microSD to normal SD convertor card and inserting it to the 2DS, will it work?

Id say it is even better then a full size one, because you can stick it in phones an such

Or in my Surface which has a microSD slot but no regular size SD slot :-p (which is really annoying - if it was regular size I could read both regular size SDs and microSDs, but nope....)
