Hello! My name is Noah. I’ve come here to ask for assistance for a certain project I’ve been thinking about. So, I’m pretty sure most of you have heard of Quake. Yes, there is a port to 3ds, but, that is not QuakeSpasm. Rather, it is winQuake. Now, I know, you all might be wondering “why is he thinking this in the first place?” The answer is simple. Slayers Testament. If some of you know what that name means, you know EXACTLY where this is leading. I’m looking for skilled C programmers to help me along the way, as I am new to this, but, motivated. porting the engine is way harder than remaking the mod that's just common sense
That depends, if slayer’s testament has source code changes, and you have to implement these into a different engine it will almost be as difficult. And on top of that, if you port quakespasm you could also more easily make mods available on 3DS.
