The actual backing up and restoring is performed via content manager on the vita itself, not on PC.
Assuming you just installed QCMA you wont have anything on the PC side. Just set up the directories via the QCMA settings on PC then backup via the vita.

If you're wanting to use QCMA to transfer files from PC (VPKs etc) rather than for normal game backup/restoration, google 'qcma transfer vpk' and you'll find plenty of guides.

Make sure you refresh QCMA when you change the datat being sent.

Also have a registered PSP game save and make a backup folder in the save folder in Caps.
Say BACKUP.
Put all the stuff you want transferring in this folder.

On the vita choose PC to vita , PSP save and choose the PSP game your BACKUP is in.
