ROM Hack Q: Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Add "R" function from PC?

Now this might be a non-starter, but after reading the 3DS ROM hacking/Translations/Utilities - Posting guideline", I found the following snippet.

• ROM hacking cover editing the game's content:
- Translations
- Texture edition
- Extracting files
- injecting new files or content in games
- Level editors
- Patching game's files to affect game play (cheatcode or other means, I guess power save has his place here)
- Anything which affects the game's internal files!

My question is as follows. Is there any way to mod/hack in a functionality that lets me reset the floor? Like one would by holding R on the PC version of the game.

If I'm not mistaken, all the 3DS buttons are in use already. But maybe one could make it so one has to hold two or three buttons for X Seconds.

I have no coding skills. So I will not be able to help make this tool (if even possible). But I will be glad to help with any testing if needed.
