On topic: I haven't looked to much into it, but won't this game be kinda short? Isn't it just the NES game in 3D or is there more added story-line wise and such?

I wish they would make a DS version, even if it was just a port of the already dual-screen arcade version. Seeing that the DS is uniquely suited to the arcade version, it's absolutely ridiculous that Ninty hasn't done it yet. A port, a new version, a compilation of ALL their old versions.....SOMETHING.


And just to stay on topic, my nephew plans to buy Punch-Out Wii when it's released. I'll definitely head over to his house to check it out once he gets it, it's my favorite Ninty game. Hope it doesn't force you to wave your arms around like an idiot. Just let me use the d-pad and buttons or the classic controller or something.

Can't wait to play it too! It was one of my favorite games on the NES and the new game seems to keep the same feeling that the old game had.

You can play it using the Wiimote+Nunchuck like on WiiSports or using the Wiimote sideways, like a NES controller, just like the NES game was played.

I'm trying both modes.. if the Wiimote+Nunchuck is responsive enough, I'm sticking with it.. I need to do some exercise

Thanks Martin and Raiyu. Now I have to wait for the game to release, to slowly ship to my house, and beat a game I'm sure to suck at to find out. uhhh.... But if that means no spoilers oh well. Thanks again.

It has also been stated[who?] that this game is the first game that an internal Nintendo development team ran into a problem with space on the Wii's DVD.

Anyone have more info? The game can't be THAT big.

Well, Brawl used a Dual-Layered disc, so... I'm naively assuming that any space issues with a standard DVD (that most Wii games use) can be solved by using a Dual-Layered disc instead... >_

It's 3.80GB when installed to a USB Device. Not THAT big and definetly no dual layer.
