I'm trying to install h-encore on to my PSTV 3.65 (I don't want to update to 3.68) but every time I try it keeps asking me to update. If I modify the DNS server then I get an error saying it can't connect to the DNS. The PSTV doesn't have an airplane mode, what is the best way to bypass this so I can connect to QCMA without doing an update to 3.68? I can't seem to find a concrete answer after browsing online for well over an hour.

EDIT: as far as I know there is also no way to connect the PSTV directly to your PC, so using the content manager would be the only way via WiFi.

Could you explain how to use it? I'd like to try it too.
grab the file here https://github.com/Al-Azif/ps4-exploit-host/releases (I don't use the binary file, so if you're using it there might be a difference)
then navigate to updates directory, find the psp2-updatelist.xml file and replace it with
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<update_data_list>
   <region id="{{REGION}}">
       <np level0_system_version="01.600.000" level1_system_version="03.650.000" level2_system_version="03.650.000" map="03.650.000"/>
       <np_d level0_system_version="01.600.000" level1_system_version="03.650.000" level2_system_version="03.650.000" map="03.650.000"/>
       <version system_version="03.650.000" label="3.65 (変革 Compatible)">
           <update_data update_type="full">
               <image size="133754368">http://d{{REGION}}01.psp2.update.playstation.net/update/psp2/image/2017_0317/rel_0a0f2a9ae58968ac5d1d2127049c3cba/PSP2UPDAT.PUP</image>
           </update_data>
       </version>
   </region>
</update_data_list>
if you're still on 3.60 and want to update to 3.65, then download http://dus01.psp2.update.playstatio...a0f2a9ae58968ac5d1d2127049c3cba/PSP2UPDAT.PUP and put the PSP2UPDAT.PUP file on that directory as well

to make debugging possible, don't forget to change settings.json
Code:
"Debug": true,

after that, simply run the app (ps4-exploit-host.exe or python start.py) and it'll display your IP address
put that IP address as your Vita DNS server, and now whenever the Vita does something that request the latest version available from Sony server, it'll return 3.65 and skip the update nag

It worked on my 3.65 PSTV! Thank you very much.

To OP, you can try this method.

Thank you both for your help, I managed to do it with the Vita Update Blocker which is an easier method, but since it's an EXE one should always be weary about downloading them unless it's a reliable source.
