Hacking Homebrew PSP UMD video region lock bypassable?

Please please please please tell me the region lock on the PSP UMD videos can be circumvented

. I have Cowboy bebop over here on UMD video (PAL) and I don't want to download the Xvid version just because of a damn region lock

Well, it should be anything up to 3.50 (depending on when they ship it

). And naturally I have Lumines standing right here.

Haha I see you're ready to downgrade. Yeah all the new custom firmwares have an option to change UMD Region. Mines currently set to region free.

No problem, mines currently running M33-7 and its working great, updated the day it came out.

Get 3.52 m33 and then hold R on start up, go to config, click free umd region, this works on my american psp
