No difference at all, other than the speed that the data is written/transfered to PSP

Depends on how fast your MS Reader reads. I've never used an MS Reader but the USB Cable connection works pretty fast (plus, all you have to press is O and you're back into your XMB with the newly added files)

I have never bothered with a reader as well

. Its good for troubleshooting homebrew

. Unlike the DS were if something doesn't work you have to take out the memory card and put in the computer (which gets really annoying

The psp slim and the regular one uses the same type of usb cable right?

Yes they do, jchen. The USB cable, more often than not, is much faster than a reader.

Yup, and a cool, new feature of the Slim is being able to recharge it while it's in USB mode connected through a cable... wewt.
