Hardware psp malfunction!?

for some reason my psp starts malfunctioning when im playing persona 2 psp! i havent played my psp in a while till now but the home screen keeps interupting the game and making the game have truble countiuing. just now while i was playing it nearly froze the game in battle! any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. it sounds like my psp is getting to old and is saying YOU SURE YOU DONT WONT TO QUIT THE GAME > . its possessed i tell you!

Sounds like your Home button is being pressed down by something stuck in it.

i heard it could be a cd problem but im not sure. does anyone know how much it would cost to repair this- or at least an estament.

It really sounds like it's just something stuck in there pressing the home button down. How much it costs depends on the PSP model (1K/2K/3K/Go) and who's going to look at it. It shouldn't cost much to take the faceplate off and clean the home bar.
