While you're out performing miracles, can your friend whip up something that makes my PSP less of a piece of junk? I could do without it randomly shutting off when the adapter cord moves around.

Topics like this ........
Why would you want people PMing you?
Clearly he wants attention as he knows that you CAN post hacks like this on the forums. It's not against the rules AFAIK. At least, I post links to custom firmware and nobody's said anything about it.

I pm'ed him, he included a Doom 6 with the download. Wow what a great game, thanks man.

WTF... seriously. Anyway PSP's rock, man. Granted DS has some good games, but my PSP Slim has never had a problem and runs everything, GBA, SNES, Genesis, movies, comics, CSO's etc

Yep seems indeed like OFW.
Stay away from it if you wish to use your ISO loaders.

I hope not to many people are fooled by this and install it.
But I doubt that.

After taking a closer look it seems they are not even the same file size.

Name of first file to compare: official.PBP
Name of second file to compare: Pokedom.PBP
Option:
Comparing official.PBP and Pokedom.PBP...
Files are different sizes.

Compare more files (Y/N) ? n

So I loaded the PBP file up in PBPunpacker but it is corrupted.
Not even PBPunpacker can open it.

Either he added 3kb of trash or did something else to corrupt it.

... looks like he somehow merged h.bin from the chickhen exploit into the end of a 6.10 update file.
at the end of the file it shows some chickhen errors such as "could not create egghunt.bin"

@Sicklyboy, how bad is it to buy a refurbished ups
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@K3Nv3, not bad at all, just make sure it comes with new batteries or else you'll have to put new ones in it yourself (not hard)

Waiting for the NUC 14 essential to become available here 🤔
  • Issac @ Issac:
What's the best NUC to get as a first NUC, as a NUC noob. I want one that I can have always on - run a monitoring server and some home automation stuff - as well as possibly doing some devving by connecting to it through SSH
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
You honestly don't really need anything that powerful for that imo an old 2010 laptop could do it
  • Minox @ Minox:
@Issac I'd argue the NUC 14 essential is a good compromise for speed, price and low power usage
  • Issac @ Issac:
mhmm, mhmm... Most important for me, in that case, would be silent, power efficient, and form factor.
  • Minox @ Minox:
That's at least why I want to get it
  • Issac @ Issac:
    Oh nice @Minox
  • Minox @ Minox:
2000~3500 sek depending on what model you want
  • Minox @ Minox:
Only needs RAM + SSD on top of that
