Gaming psp d pad broken

i dropped my psp recently and pressing up or left have been very hard lately which isnt good for certain games. is it easy to open and fix it?
 
I dropped my PSP off my bed (which is a bunk bed) it landed on the table and fell to the floor, still works nothing is broken

it didnt drop hard but it dropped right flat on the face so .. itw orking fine except for the buttons gotta find my screwdrivers though.
 
there will be guides on how to open up the various models - guides in replacing such parts. if you require the parts then dx is a good place to hunt.

is there a guide here about opening up psp - i haven't seen one?
 
There are a few screws on the back of a PSP, 2 on the right and 2 under the battery. Removing those will allow the faceplate to be removed which is all that is needed to replace buttons/faceplate. Going into the rest of PSP disassembly gets complicated (I'd like a nice shell for mine but can't be bothered with the crazy amount of disassembly needed)
