Concepts and processing capabilities mean nothing. Hardware is what really matters, no touchscreen = fake DS emulation.
lol guise virtualiz'd hardware and/or dynamic recompilation has nothing 2 do with emaulation. DOSE IT HAVE THE SAME BUTTONS? NO!!!! SO ITS NOT AN EMAULATOR. noobs.

God, people are stupid.

We got the point after the first few posts: PSP fanboys bad, PSP bad, old news bad. Stop posting the same exact thing OVER and OVER again.

Can we just close this pointless thread?
this, and various other fanboy trolling, everyone cut it out already

but the thread is not actually useless since a new ver was actually released, a few days ago
see below

That gave me a chuckle. PSP owners have no games to play so what do they do; try to play DS games on the PSP. Just buy a DS like everyone else in the world.

Coming from a PSP AND DS fanboy, I'd say this is quite interesting. Now, maybe it won't be able to play TWEWY, LoZ, or Trauma Center worth of shit even when it's complete. But let's think of games like Phoenix Wright, New Super Mario Bros, and Final Fantasy Tactics A2, those would work quite well on the PSP as they use little to no touch screen-exclusive controls. In my humble opinion, I welcome the DS emulator as it will allow me to take some (not all, but some) of my favorite DS games with me and not have to switch handhelds to play them. I'm not saying "Take THAT, DS fanboys!" or "PSP r teh roxorz!!1! !!1 one!!", as I like both handhelds equally and I feel that they both have their strong and weak points. This emulator may not be much now, but it's still in an alpha phase. Once it hits beta, it'll have some framerate increases among other things, I'm sure. It still won't be able to play EBA, TWEWY, or , but it'll still be a welcome addition to a PSP homebrew enthusiast's collection, including mine.

This is so not true. I've played many amazing PSP games, including Resistance: Retribution and Untold Legends (1 & 2), and it's safe to say there's no shortage of good games for the PSP, just like there's no shortage of good games for the DS. Keep in mind, though, both handhelds have some games that are absolute shit (Imagine series for DS and TalkMan for the PSP), but they both have some real gems.

I lol'd at this. They try so hard to emulate something they say isn't good. So why emulate it? So they can be closet-DS fanboys

What.. GBAtemp doesn't suck. Also learn to grammar in the first sentence, they have invented something called a "comma ( , )" without it your opening line is broken.
