Concepts and processing capabilities mean nothing. Hardware is what really matters, no touchscreen = fake DS emulation. Its not even close to the mouse, which is ten times more precise than what the PSP can be. But it still couldn't provide decent play for TWEWY or w/e.

Nice try, but PSP fanboys are fooling themselves. Most of teh games will suck with its framerate too. Or maybe they were just trying to emulate Imagine games? :creep;

Maybe when a touchscreen PSP comes out.

When downgrading your PSP, lets say when 2.XX to 1.50 or 1.00 was the in thing; Yoshihiro was the man that delivered. And now several years later, Yoshihiro delivers again making his 2009 debut with DSONPSP — a Nintendo DS emulator for your PlayStation Portable.

Evidently the emulator suffers from a very low FPS rate; however, Yoshihiro is putting in work and optimizing it for the PSP hardware. DSONPSP v0.1 is beta after all. It’s mentioned the next version will run Tetris DS at 9 FPS. So keep your eyes peeled!

TODO/WIP:

* NDS TouchScreen ratio on PSP
* Mouse pointer
* Sound
* CPU optimization
* Port the latest build (DeSmuME v0.9.4)

DSONPSP is a port of DeSmuME.

I'll probably only be impressed with higher frame rate. So what if it can be emulated, it will probably take an hour to finsih a dungeon in LoZ, ten minutes for a TWEWY battle. And you'll most likely die while playing.
And the crappy emulation of the touchscreen won't help anything.

I really don't get why PSP fanboys try so hard to disprove the fun of DS, you waste hours of your life coding something that is hardly playable when you can go finish your "hardcore" games. Showing superior hardware means nothing, its a godamn gaming machine, you derive fun from it not hardware capabilities. I might as well get a fucking laptop if I want hardware capabilities. It can be on-the-go to.

But, I still want to see something cool someday, maybe DS emulation on PSP2?

u can emulate so many things on the psp but still not worth it at times eg. ds or even ps1 (unless ur playing ff7 though u could download tht from the psp services)

My PSP runs every PS1 game I have, which is 6 games more than FF7.
Also, DS emulation is useless; do what I do:
