Hello.
I've got some questions regarding my psp 6.3.

1. Is it hackable? Or rather yet can I downgrade it so it would be?
2. Can I get any custom firmware on it at all?
3. Is it possible to use cheats or cheat engines on my psp? (how?)

Thank you ^^

I don't know which psp you have so I am assuming a non hackable one. So tell me which model psp do you have?

If your PSP is PSP-1000 or early 2000
1. Yes. Buy a pandora battery and make a MMS (yes that is the only way).
2. Yes.
3. Yes. Install custom firmware, copy [insert cheat device name here] to the MMS and add an entry to game.txt. Follow the readme for how to use as different cheat devices have different usage instructions.

If your PSP is more recent PSP-2000, 3000 or Go!
1. No and no.
2. No.
3. No.

EDIT: No one likes it when you reply while other people are typing their answers BoxShot.

PSP 3000, 6.3.
So there's no way for anything of that? I can't even cheat games (are there any cheat engines or anything I can run on my psp?)

Thx

I can't even cheat? In no way possible, nor downgrade or anything at all?

That's really stupid, waste of money :/

Nope. If Datel ever manages to get the PSPAR working on 6.30 then that will probably be your only avenue for cheating and that only allows for cheat they make not user made cheats which is a pain in the arse.

At the moment nope. In no way can you cheat, downgrade, install CFW or run any homebrew.

What about PSP 3000, 5.3 or whatever is hackable?

And where can I trade? paypal? That sounds so, so, so unsafe to me ...

You are not guarenteed a semi hackable PSP 3000. (5.03)
You are if you get a PSP 1000. No matter what as long as you have a pandora and a mms.
Trade er local game store? Well if you bought one there I'd suppose.

That's the problem. I tried. None of the local stores (or any stores miles away at that matter) have a PSP 5.03 or 1000, 2000 or any version at that matter. They all just have this new ones.

P.S.
On this psp 3004 I've already bought few games through online store. If I sell/trade the PSP will there be any problems? Like I can download them again on the new psp right? Tho I can let them stay there for more value to the psp? Do I need to be careful about something.

Thanks for all your advices so far ^^

If I sell/trade the PSP will there be any problems? Nope. The shop will set the PSP to the default options.
Like I can download them again on the new psp right? Yeah, I think so. Since the games are connected to your account. I'm not too sure though

There's a lot of GoW, Daxter, and StarWars PSPs on eBay. Finding one at the right price though can be tricky.

You can also try Craigslist (NOT RECOMMENDED)
