Gaming Psp 1000 help!

my psp 1000 was accumulating dusts for around 4 months.

well, it's kind of weird, when i play the game for a while,(no regular time) then the item will automatically power off, then you cannot power on. But after you try several times, the screen might come back again, then you may still play a while, then the problem happens again.

sometimes even cannot power up.

The problem exists when i using the charging cable.

so i am really don't know how to fix that.

You don't use your PSP much. AKA haven't for 4 months. Then you play a game for a little while, then the PSP(?) powers off, and you can't turn it back on? After a while if you try enough, it turns back on, then does it all over again.

Then sometimes can't turn in on at all.

And the problem exists when using the charging cable, huh.

Well, first things first. Have you tried changing the battery?

which i thought the same, because i was wondering the connection was wrong. hopefully only the battery problem.

I think it's the battery. They tend to go stupid on you after a long period of not being used, no matter what gadget.

It is the battery, but on the plus side, they are fairly cheap to get hold of.

A phat battery that isn't fake? You'd have to be lucky to find one. Most internet sites sell fakes.
