I saw this in the Recovery menu under advanced settings on my PSP 1000 with 6.20 Pro B9. Is it possible?

No. It is just there for the models of PSP that support it for when they need it. Pretty sure that is a hardware function more than anything.

It is possible to charge the thing through usb.. Just connect a wire between the usb port and the battery... Does require taking the PSP apart, theres videos on youtube explaining how to do it....

In answer to your question... No it does nothing, even with the mod
