hi ppl...

there is a thing that sux bad.

i took my ps3 to a friend over weekend for some gaming.
when i arrived there and turned the ps3 on, i had to set
date & time. since then when i start PSN games i get
an error with something like time limit bla.

tried psnpatch with the rap files, still same error.

what / why is that and how can i fix this?

thanks in advance :)

PS: ps3 slim, rebug 4.85

you could try resigning to no npdrm, but it would be time consuming. I'm not sure how the time thing works, but it could be associated with the rtc.

well, that way would negate the need for a license. the buyer's field will be removed iirc, and the game will work. however, all updates would have to be fixed too. I'm not sure what could be happening with your system. it's not something I've seen before.

the question is: why is this happening?
for now, when i login to psn the game
is working again. but what if access to
psn is gone / canceled / whatever ?

it is not even a game i buyed with the
psn account i am logging in.

i did some testing and discovered something.

at least i didnt know that, because i never used reactpsn,
i allways used psnpatch.

the described problem occurs only when psnpatch
is used for activating / enabling the PKGs RAP file.

i tried it with reactpsn, pulled the powercord from ps3
over night to force the "forgot date / time" thing.

the game is still working, no error about "time limit".

maybe all of you know this allready ^^
