PSFreedom Dingoo

I'm having a bit of a problem.

I can't seem to backup anything to my internal HDD with this exploit.

I made sure to delete the install data for the game I tried and it still doesn't work. I get prompted to back it up to the internal HDD and I select 'yes' and nothing happens.
Apparently the stealth/mw2 version has trouble backing up to internal hdd so if you're using that then try switching to the psjailbreak version

Wow, I've racking my brain all evening to make this work and I only got gmenu2x to boot normally. No strange things yet. @thaddius what did you install in order to make it work?

Is it just:
1. zImage from waninkoko
2. generic rootfs
3. any frontend (gmenu2x, dinguxsmb)
4. Wait a few minutes or until dingoo is fully charged?

So far no effect for me.

Kind of disappointing given the fact that I repaired the minisd slot and everything and still no psfreedom for me... sad.

Edit:
After getting a message from thaddius it now works.

.

All you have to do is connect it to usb and perform the jailbreak while dingux is already running. So I guess all that soldering work was worth it.

That seems to have been the problem. Thanks.

Looks like it works for me...

I'm talking about the dingoo part, because I don't own a PS3, but checking on the windows device manager the VID/PID looks to be similar, and the dingux command line show a line about psfreedom being started.

There's another patch already for 3.42? Where can I get it?

I don't get my Dingoo for another week anyway. Just thought I would keep up with this...

Anyone working on an Android version?
An "android" version as such isn't possible. You can make specific mobile phone (/usb controller) versions though running on android (should be relativly easy to do).
