Hi,

I have a PS5 on my bench with single beep BLOD. It flashes blue light for around 3s and then goes off. Second try is beep only (Init phase only). Then third again 3s.

All fuses are good. Init phase is 311mA then 7mA. Good so far.

Thermal cam Shows every relevant component flashes warm and then shut off. RAM, CPU, SSD Controller, Rail Mosfets.

UART is Not helpful, After clean and test only one error:

00 30.10.2024 20:47:08 80801610 High Not found in list. Report Findings.

So nothing i can deal with. Any ideas?

Thanks and Best regards!
Andi

I made some other repairs before but today came back to it.

After swapping RAM#5 with a donor one the console came back to life!!

Thank you so much, I do Not know on how to have this been documented in the UART lists. I m using CST and dont know where the descriptions of failures are stored.

Hopefully anyone is able to update the lists.

Your APU temperatur readings are to high:
53C0 = 83.xx °C
612F = 97.xx °C
5B59 = 91.xx °C
610C = 97.xx °C

I would check the liquid metal on the APU for oxidation/dryspots.

Thank you, the temperature and the failure regarding the APU was due to i was turning on the ps5 with out heat disipator, the ps5 restars after some seconds for the overheat, when i put the thermal disipator the ps5 does not reboot by over temperature

So i traying to solve the code 80801610

Hey Guys Hello,

Now im checking the DDR6 number 5, and also i detect a detached component ( one capacitor 0402 of 1 Uf, replaced by a other PS5) and also i found a hit in a trace (is not open only has not solder mask)

well after the repair the GDD6s were not warms any more, only the SSD controlled is warm

i erase the codes and i get new ones
