Hacking PS4 Update 4.70

I'm getting this update when I turned on my PS4 today. I try to Google it but it seems no post about it has surfaced. The changelog says that it's only fixing stability, performance and such crap.

Weird that no site on Google available yet to confirm this (as this post created)

Edit: Ah, A Reddit post surfaced just a few minutes ago.

Does the Update worth it?

i'll update because i am playing some online multiplayer everyday.
i think i will first start looking into the hax stuff again once something legit is out.

and from the way it looks, that can take a long time.
and when it does happen, i'll just go downtown and look for a new ps4 that comes with a fw that the hax can be installed on.

Useless and I won't update it since 2.57 at all.

When a game console update says "fixing stability or performance" etc., it usually means exploit patch. If they blocked PSN from the old firmware, usually means they change the API for PSN on the server end or they are forcing the exploit patches as they might be usable for jailbreak.

So I don't think there's a worth or not problem, it's just that you need PSN or not. As a second hand PS4 gen 1 is so damn cheap at this point, you might want to just bought a second one with 4.5x or lower firmware if you want the jailbreak, then you can upgrade your current one to the latest. I kept my old PS4 when I bought the Pro, since the old one doesn't worth much these days.
