Hardware PS4 shows up as WiFi Access Point

Title. I can see a WiFi Access Point with the name "PS4-<numbers>". I know for sure that its from the PS4 cuz its gone when I turn the system off.
Is this safe/supposed to happen? I'm a bit concerned with it visible to all devices
I do have a Vita set up with this PS4 for remote play, is it by any chance a remote play hotspot or something related to that?

It's for remote play with Vita in case internet sucks
