which method is patched ? there's a hacking method behind it which was patched ?@fiis the "method" was patched when RE2 came out, but rumor has it another "method" exists...
because the sharing is officially supported by Sony, and is explained on their website and on all bought games on PSN. this is not a back door or a hidden method.
and it still works. Except maybe for games not allowing it, but it's on a game basis. you can see the detail on the game's PSN page if the game allows it or not.
something like "this license allows launch of the game on the primary console online or offline, and a non primary console online"
It's primarily done for people who have 2 consoles (one in each divorced parent), or for couple (having 2 consoles in the same house) to have their games in common on both consoles at the same time. you can't of course log with the same account twice. the primary console should use a second user (having his own savegames and trophies) but has access to the game library and ps+ from all primary accounts present on that console. You also need to trust the other console's owner as s/he requires your PSN log/pass to set it as active in your psn settings on his console.
If the shared user don't want to release your account to set it back as primary on your own console, you can force a release once every 6 month on sony's website.
