ahh ok, thanks for the info on this, it's not quite what I thought it would be

hopefully it will open the doors for similar type devices to be released

Actually thr site has a pretty good reputation in the community, of course they are not the ones creating the mods, they are just a reseller...

The "no refunds on pre-orders" is total rubish tho, why would anyone pre-order a modchip that anyonebarely know anything about it (let alone if ut even works properly) and have no refund option at all....

best to just wait out for some kind of CFW.
i learnt my lesson from buying that cra**y ps3 trublue dongle thingie.

i wasted 100$ on that thing, used it for only a few weeks or so, then cfw was out.
now on Rebug and it's amazing.
