Sony is just giving us more meme food, because now we can add it to this
Sony did not make this game, they have nothing to do with it other than its being made for their console, they are literally just showing a trailer of a game made by a Chinese developer Mihoyo, who make the Honkai Impact series for mobile phones.

Gameplay is quite different.

Visuals look nearly the same though.

This is straight up Dragon Nest 2.

Zelda Breath of the Wild is one of the best games I've ever played, no wonder companies are running with the concept and developing their own games with it. It's a bit derivative when only a 1:1 clone comes out of it, but that's how thing evolve. In gaming just take Space Invaders, there wouldn't be a Galaga if people had that mindset. For every Doom there's a Rise of the Triad. Some games are just genre inspiring. And that's how things worked for 100s of years. Classical componists built on each others concepts, famous painters got inspirations from painters before them, you can't invent something new when you don't copy the old. While this games is still stuck in the copy phase there's the potential to develop great things from it. And if it's just being used as an example how not to clone Breath of the Wild.

I'm looking forward to the reviews.

the whole 2d side scroller era was a copy off each other (same mechanics/engine) but the one thing that separated them was the color and visuals, when one designer looks to take from another artist they tend to go with a different color scheme this way the game appears different but sometimes it's based off that games engine, now the main thing which people don't know is apparently they also used music from Zelda and just added a few different beats and that is what caused a lot of outcry of being a complete knock off.

this game doesn't appear to be a complete open world because at times it looks like you get put into a 2.5 world when you are on bridges ,this game has my attention and will check it out when it comes out to see if it can live up to the standards set by Breath of The Wild

the PSP in 2004 was supposed to be like what the Wii U Tablet was trying to be but they handcuffed it with 802.11b and developers never really linked up the 2nd screen option which was intended to not only display things from the game and act like a controller but you were supposed to be able to remote play your ps3 even with all the changes (Psp phone) leading up to the Vita Sony never really delivered because of the poor connectivity issues.

I will say that my Vita streams PS4 games amazingly well on my cheap DLink 5GHz mu-mimo router.
