Hardware PS3 strange sounds

Hi to all, my ps3 have strange problem (since before christmas) that in 99% of cases, not turn on when i press power, but make 2 bip consecutively (same soud when you click disk eject button) and then turn off; i need a lot of tries to start the console... what happen?

if you get 2 beeps, the console is overheated.. not sure if this is correct..

Yes, 2 beeps.
After i push power on button, led become green, then 2 beeps, light between red and green and then turn off...

Hm.. I had a similar problem from your description. But in my case the console wouldn't turn on at all anymore.

I sent it to an repair service and they fixed the issue. According to them it was cooked cable inside the PS3 or something like that. Not sure though.

what model is the ps3
can the ps3 power on to the XMB at all
do you know what the Yellow light of death is?
do the led go red(stand by mode)-Green->YELLOW (for a sec)->Green(for a sec)->flashing red

I have fat 40 GB, and yes, i can reach XMB but only after many tries... and not, no yellow led, only between red and green and 2 beeps

have you tried booting the ps3 to safe mode?

Hmm i never send my ps3 to their assistence, they may can remove my 3.55 CFW, so not...
