Hello gamers

so I got a PS3 slim last year
It’s cech3003b model which is hen compatible
Currently m on hfw 4.85 and hen 3.0
I went online by signing psn I’d whenever I try to play any game online it tells me to download an update
M not sure what will happen then after installing update may be I get banned or so that’s why I never installed
But now I want to play the PS3 games online
Can you guys suggest safest way through which I can get Online and play with guys out there who are on psn
I don’t want to update to 4.86 and hen 3.1 because i saw some posts stating that it’s not That stable

If you want online you have to update. It is your best bet. Playstation 3 has never been that stable anyways. It is way better than it used to be........

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
