Hardware PS3 Slim issues

About a week ago I turned my PS3 Slim on with my controller and I didn't hear a beep. I thought maybe the controller didn't work but I looked and the PS3 was on. Ever since my PS3 Slim doesn't beep when I turn it on. So today I tried to hold the button down when turning it on to see if it fixes it or goes into safe mode but it instantly comes on. Apparently I can't get into safe mode any more unless there's some other way.

It's just those issues though, the PS3 still functions fine. I just hope serious issues aren't soon to follow. Should I be worried?

This is funny because I had a system that didn't beep for the longest time. It was a fat running rebug. Well yesterday I decided to install Ferrox CFW and after a few reboots it started beeping again out of no where. It was the first time it beeped in at least 4 years. haha No idea what caused or fixed it but I could also not enter safe mode. I had figured I cooked the speaker with one of the oven re-flows it has been through but apparently not.

Yeah I fixed mine too. What i had to do was turn it on then hold the button down and it beeped to turn off. Then I was able to get into safe mode and i tried rebuild database now it beeps again when it turns on.
