Hacking PS3 Not Syncing Controllers

Disregard this. The issue was with PS3XPAD. Upon disabling it I could re-sync my controllers.

I wanted to sync a second controller to my ps3. I tried resetting it, plugging it into both USB ports, rebooting the console, but it still could not operate unless plugged into USB. I tried resetting the system settings, but that did not fix anything. Does anyone know what the problem may be here? I was able to sync the controllers to my Wii so I think it's the PS3's issue. Would it be possible to somehow write the values to my controller/ps3 myself?

Wii homebrew app Devolution. It's a Gamecube backup loader that has the ability to write Wii's bluetooth info to a PS3 controller for use in the app.
