Hacking PS3 exFAT Media Player

PS3 only support FAT32.

ExFAT is a thing but poorly implemented. NTFS is limited too.

No, not true. my PS3 jailbreak support NTFS. I used PS3 iso backup in NTFS through webMan. Been used it for over 5 years.

Trying to use it for Movies, and Shows. I have 2 PS3s. 1 for Gaming, while the other is strictly limited to Media. The Media one is the one I am concerned with.

What do you need to use NTSF for ? If you are using for backup games in .ISO then read above what you need to scan and it will run. Mine does showing up fine as usually.

MEDIA . For watching Videos. Not possible to do MediaServer unless there is a way to Block Sony Websites, and use Internet to connect to my Computer from another Location.
So what do I need to Format a 10TB USB HDD to a readable Format, and what PS3 App do I need to see it?????

Ahh.. I have no idea about those because I dont bother to watching videos. Maybe you can try it through webMan Mod ? I dont know. I never tried it.

Did not work. Going to have to try for FAT32 if I can get past the 2TB Limit

It's recommended to upgrade the internal hdd instead. I think webman mod support splitted files now.

You can make multiple partition but ps3 will only read the first one. Easily done on a mac by the way.

I don't think the PS3 support GPT anyway, so you won't be able to load a partition that is more than 2 GB

What you can do is store all your media files on a NAS and load them from your PS3 using Movian, it works well with SMB shares
